I swear I posted this yesterday, but here you go. I made some more of the fused glass pendants. Here's a couple pics of the process. Hopefully we'll have finished results later today.

Colorado State Fair!

I hope you don't mind me braggin' on myself a little bit.

Last summer I made a bunch of fused glass coasters from some Spectrum 96 glass. The local museum bought up most of them for their gift shop (whoo hoo!)

Anyway, I had tons of left over glass from that project and since I mostly have 90 coe glass for fusing, I didn't want those leftovers hanging around in my shop so I made this platter out of the remains.

My daughter went down to Pueblo a couple of weeks ago to visit her friend and on a whim, grabbed the platter as she was running out the door and proclaimed that she was going to submit it to the State Fair.

Lo and behold, not only was it accepted into the Fine Arts Show, but it also won a Jurors Choice award. GO ME!

I'm going down to visit my platter over the Labor Day holiday :)
